MY ROLE
As a UI/UX designer, I was tasked to create new features and redesigning existing ones. I handled communication with leads, designers, producers, and engineers to finalize tasks. I also did user research, wireframing, visual design, animation, and built the UI using Autodesk Maya and exporting it to our propriety tools to make it in-game ready. Some features I worked on from start to finish include, Draft Stock, Footlocker Store, Gatorade Custom Bottle, along with other various features. I also redesigned and branded the Black Market and Burn Cards.

MAIN CHALLENGES
THE BLACK MARKET
The Black Market is a hidden feature within the game and once it becomes unlocked it gives the player access to purchase some rare items.
I redesigned and branded the feature to give the feature a sense of authenticity.
THE BURN CARDS
& CARD PARK MANAGER
Burns cards can be received and utilized within My Park.
It allows players to unlock and equip certain types of cards.
I redesigned the burn cards and created a concept for a feature called “Park Card Manager” which allows the player to equip their desired Burn cards.
THE BLACK MARKET
FIRST PASS
EARLY EXPLORATION
The designers wanted to update the Black Market to emphasize its rarity and authenticity. Below is a first pass for the Black Market. Initially, I wanted to explore the functionality of the feature adding fade-ins and camera transitions.

IDENTITY &
BRANDING
Working with the designers and producers, I shared an idea of branding the feature to help give it an identity. I created a logo for the feature along with some glitch animation to make it feel like the game was being hacked.
CONCEPT
I wanted to give the feature a sense of secrecy, I opted-in to use the glitch effect to make it seem like its “broken” or “glitched”. After getting the approval from the Director, I went ahead built the menu and added animation and camera transitions.
FINAL RESULT
After creating an initial concept, I went ahead built the feature in-game. I handled, UX, visual design, animation and implementation.
BURN CARDS
EARLY EXPLORATION
The MyPark Burn Cards are utilized within the MyPark mode. I was tasked to redesign them and have the cards carry different tiers, add-ons, perks etc.
After discussing the feature with the designer, I had an idea on what I wanted to create aesthetically. The cards should look similar but different enough to make them be known as The Burn Cards. I explored with different shape elements to help carry a unique look each of the cards. Since the cards carried tiers, I also wanted the shapes to represent the tier of the card. The low tier of the card carried less design details, the higher the tier was, the more design details the card would hold.

Each Burn Card is represented by its tier. Below are the final colors and design.
PARK CARD MANAGER
A feature I also worked on for the Burn Cards is called the Park Card Manager. This allowed the player to organize and equip the Burn Cards. The feature also carried a reveal screen when the player receives the burn cards. I handled the UX, visual design, and implementation.
DRAFT STOCK
FINAL RESULT
We introduced a new method of showcasing the Draft Stock. It showcases a video with dynamic text and icons. I handled the animation and implementation of the feature.
